Herein, we present a microscopic theory of the neutral collective modes supported by the non-Abelian fractional quantum Hall states at filling factor 5/2. The theory is formulated in terms of the trial states describing the Girvin–MacDonald–Platzman mode and its fermionic counterpart. These modes are superpartners of each other in a concrete sense, which we elucidate.
