Soft pion form factors are incorporated into the meson-exchange model of nucleon-nucleon interactions. The resulting {ital hp} phase shifts for partial waves {ital J}=0 and 1 are calculated and compared for the above model and the full Bonn potential. The results justify using the soft form factor.
