Off-shell NN potential and triton binding energy
- Department of Physics, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idado 83843 (United States)
The binding energy of triton is calculated from the Bonn-B potential in a charged-dependent 34-channel Faddeev calculation. The nonlocality in the Bonn potential is due to the use of the correct off-shell Feynman amplitude of one-boson-exchange. It is illustrated that this off-shell behavior leads to more binding energy.
