Materials Data on Sc5Ru3 by Materials Project
Sc5Ru3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Sc sites. In the first Sc site, Sc is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ru atoms. All Sc–Ru bond lengths are 2.79 Å. In the second Sc site, Sc is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ru atoms. There are a spread of Sc–Ru bond distances ranging from 2.65–3.14 Å. Ru is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Sc atoms.
