Materials Data on Ba2PdAu by Materials Project
Ba2PdAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2PdAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Au atom. The Ba–Pd bond length is 2.86 Å. The Ba–Au bond length is 3.21 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
