Materials Data on Y2CdPb by Materials Project
Y2CdPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2CdPb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Pb atom. The Y–Cd bond length is 3.34 Å. The Y–Pb bond length is 2.84 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
