Enthalpies of mixing in systems diisooctyl (diisoamyl) methylphosphonate-diluent (hexane-decane, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, chloroform) systems have been determined calorimetrically at 293.15 K. The influence of the nature of diluent and the length of the alkyl chains of the extractant on the enthalpy of mixing is discussed.
