Computer modelling and study of the extraction of phenols from water on columns with an impregnated adsorbent

In the present work, the authors carried out computer modelling of phenol extraction from water using extraction chromatography. Phenol, 2-methylphenol, 4-methylphenol (cresols), and 2,5-dimethylphenol (xylenol) were studied. These phenols were selected due to their common use in industry and high toxicity. 7 refs., 4 figs., 2 tabs.
