The Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) Final Report includes materials submitted shortly after the end of the contracted grant period (December 1, 2007 to November 30, 2017) plus complete lists of publications and intellectual property from the grant period plus two years of no-cost extension. The Final Report is a summary of the accomplishments of the 10-years of activities and serves as a ready source for information for communicating these significant advances. Elements included in Final Report – Narratives: (1) Research Highlights ranging the entire portfolio from sustainability and feedstock development to deconstruction and conversion technologies. (2) Outreach Activities and Impact including stakeholders, education and outreach, community and industry partners. (3) Personnel Development highlights the overall professional impact of being a part of the GLBRC project through training and development opportunities and examples of individuals in the Center who are exemplars as well as a sampling of alumni who have benefited from being a part of GLBRC. (4) Research accomplishments by grant year for all ten years including a brief description of the advancement and typically including a citation or link to the appropriate resultant publication. (5) Publications by publication year – the full list includes publications originally submitted as part of the ten-year grant period and amended with publications during the no-cost extension period. (6) Intellectual Property listed chronologically – the full list includes invention disclosures, patent applications, and patents awarded originally submitted as part of the ten-year grant period and amended with filings and awards during the no-cost extension period.
