We have demonstrated a visible-light-driven catalytic process for amine to imine transformations, using a hydrothermal procedure based mesoporous copper sulfide material. The surface chemistry of this heterogeneously catalyzed process, which was further supported by computational calculations, was determined by the reaction kinetics, and reactive oxygen determination studies.
