TDCIMS background-corrected ion signals
- ORNL
These are background-corrected data from the time-of-flight Thermal Desorption Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer (TOF-TDCIMS). The reported signals are from ambient nanoparticles with mobility diameters of ~15-60 nm. The reported signals are total integrated ions (minus backgrounds) and in general are not directly convertible to ambient concentrations. t_coll is the analysis time of the collected particles. Particles were collected for 30 minutes prior to that time stamp and then analyzed. t_coll_qza is quality-assured data that only includes points for which the ion source had dewar N2 gas (standard conditions) or zero air supply (also OK). These are the data points recommended for use.
