Process Knowledge Concerning Organic Chemicals in Hanford Tank Waste Supernate
- Washington River Protection Solutions, Richland, WA (United States)
This report addresses the specific need to characterize double-shell tank supernates to meet the regulatory requirements and data quality objectives associated with Direct Feed Low Activity Waste, Tank-Side Cesium Removal, Low Activity Waste Pretreatment System, and Test Bed Initiative requirements. The use of process knowledge can greatly reduce the need for chemical analysis to meet regulatory requirements. This will decrease the cost of characterization and improve sample data turnaround times.
