Corrosion and Hydrogen Pickup Modeling in Zirconium Based Alloys

The corrosion and hydrogen pickup models in FRAPCON-3 have recently been evaluated relative to the available data. FRAPCON-3.3 currently has the capability to model the corrosion thickness and hydrogen concentration in Zircaloy-2 in boiling water reactor (BWR) environments and for Zircaloy-4, ZIRLO™ and M5™ in pressurized water reactor (PWR) environments.
