Title: The Impossible Spin and It's Applications.

Abstract

The spin of the electron, born as an abstruse concept in theoretical physics, has long been a cornerstone of our understanding of matter and magnetism. Recently, the capability to move spins across microscopic devices has emerged as the key to new technologies for reading and writing in the 21st century.
