This report documents the development of computational tools for concrete degradation processes and their effects on structures in the BlackBear multiphysics simulation environment. This project has developed capabilities for nonlinear mechanical constitutive modeling of concrete, and for simulation of multiple interacting chemical species involved in important concrete degradation mechanisms, coupled with heat and moisture transport models. Two nonlinear mechanical constitutive models implemented in BlackBear: a simple damage mechanics model, and a more comprehensive damaged plasticity model. Also, a coupled species transport model based on the Nernst-Planck equations has been implemented.
