Title: Cobalt(ii) acyl intermediates in carbon–carbon bond formation and oxygenation

Abstract

Tetrahedral cobalt( ii ) hydrocarbyl and CO reversibly form acylcobalt, coupling to give α-hydroxyketone compounds, or oxygenation with O 2 to cobalt( ii ) carboxylates.
