Conference ·
OSTI ID:1461077
This poster highlights a study of the potential national-level energy impact of connected and automated vehicles and technologies (e.g., cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC), eco-signals, automated mobility districts, etc.) and how varying levels of CACC adoption affect on-road fuel economy for different vehicle powertrains as well as potential changes in vehicle-miles-traveled distributions.
