Title: Luminescence properties of mechanochemically synthesized lanthanide containing MIL-78 MOFs

Solvent-free mechanochemistry is a highly effective route to synthesize MOFs with good luminescent properties as demonstrated in Ln 0.5 Gd 0.5 {C 6 H 3 (COO) 3 with a MIL-78 structure.
