Technical Equivalency Evaluation of Electrically Cooled Detectors for the In Vivo Measurement of Low Energy Photon Emitters in Human Lungs
- Lawrence Livermore National Lab. (LLNL), Livermore, CA (United States)
LLNL maintains equipment, capability, and operations to measure low energy photon emitting radionuclides potentially deposited inside of workers. Ongoing quality improvement includes the maintenance of detection systems capable of measuring radionuclides o f interest to the LLNL Health and Safety program. This document describes the technical equivalency evaluation of upgraded detectors for LLNL’s routine lung measurement program.
