Strength and Durability of Continuous Fiber Polymer Composites Final Report CRADA No. TC-0170-91
- Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Renton, WA (United States)
- Lawrence Livermore National Lab. (LLNL), Livermore, CA (United States)
The objective of this CRADA was to develop accelerated lifetime methodologies for predicting and enhancing the durability of high temperature fiber polymer composites. This required developing tools for conducting accelerated aging and modeling of continuous fiber . composites and organic materials in order to provide aged-time dependent mechanical property information for component aging analysis.
