This symposium was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey June 27-28, 1991 to provide a forum for state-of-the-art information on soils contaminated by the release of chemicals into the environment. Topics of discussion include the following: general soil tests; nutrient status; organic constituents; heavy metal content; and liming requirements, including land reclamation from the disposal of coal mine wastes. Individual papers have processed separately for inclusion in the appropriate data bases.
