It has been realized that the {gamma}{prime}/{gamma} lattice mismatch is one of the main factors affecting the mechanical strength of the Ni-base superalloys. In the present work, the authors study the influence of the Al and Mo contents on the microstructure of the Ni-Al-Mo alloys containing about 15 at% Al. Mo was used to vary the lattice mismatch.
