The analytical procedure and data on the {sup 90}Sr content in soil samples from Chernobyl 30-km zone, Ukraine (Korosten`) and Belarus` (Narovlya and Dobruzh districts) are presented. The analytical procedure involved separation of {sup 90}Sr from technogenic and natural radionuclides by precipitation determination of the chemical yield by the weight of stable Sr, and the liquid scintillation {beta}-counting to determine {sup 90}Sr or daughter {sup 90}Y in the heterogeneous system. The {sup 90}Sr soil contamination can be estimated from the {sup 137}Cs counting.
