The interfacial properties of SiC/SiC materials with multilayered interphase were studied from single fiber push-out tests. Values of axial and radial residual stresses, coefficient of friction and interfacial shear stress were extracted from the stress versus displacement curves through a fitting by Hsueh`s model. Trends could be identified from the evolution of the calculated interfacial characteristics as a function of the number n of (C,SiC) layers.
