Materials Data on LaAg2 by Materials Project
LaAg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Ag atoms. There are a spread of La–Ag bond distances ranging from 3.30–3.46 Å. Ag is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent La and four equivalent Ag atoms. There are a spread of Ag–Ag bond distances ranging from 2.81–3.02 Å.
