Chama is a python package which includes mixed-integer, stochastic programming formulations to determine sensor locations and technology that maximize the effectiveness of a detection program. The software includes the ability to (1) generate concentration profiles using a Gaussian Plume model, (2), define a wide range of sensor technology, including stationary and mobile sensors, point detectors and cameras, (3) optimize sensor location and type using coverage or impact statistics, and (4) generate maps of the site that include concentration plumes and sensor layout.
