The strategy for the development of a natural gas vehicle (NGV) market focuses on the high-fuel fleet-vehicle market. Six tasks have been outlined by the natural gas industry and their organizations. This article explains Task 3 which asks gas companies to show their support for NGVs by leading the way in fleet procurement, fueling infrastructure, marketing and research and development. The eight subtasks of Task 3 are described.
