Materials Data on Mn3Tl by Materials Project
Mn3Tl is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mn is bonded to eight equivalent Mn and four equivalent Tl atoms to form MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent TlMn12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent TlMn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra. All Mn–Mn bond lengths are 2.84 Å. All Mn–Tl bond lengths are 2.84 Å. Tl is bonded to twelve equivalent Mn atoms to form TlMn12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent TlMn12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent TlMn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent MnMn8Tl4 cuboctahedra.
