Ho2OsRu is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ho is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Os and four equivalent Ru atoms. All Ho–Os bond lengths are 2.94 Å. All Ho–Ru bond lengths are 2.94 Å. Os is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ho atoms. Ru is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ho atoms.
