The Materials Project

NaPd2Hg is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd and six equivalent Hg atoms. All Na–Pd bond lengths are 2.86 Å. All Na–Hg bond lengths are 3.30 Å. Pd is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Na and four equivalent Hg atoms. All Pd–Hg bond lengths are 2.86 Å. Hg is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Na and eight equivalent Pd atoms.
