Pd2CdIn is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Cd and four equivalent In atoms. All Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.85 Å. All Pd–In bond lengths are 2.85 Å. Cd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd atoms. In is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd atoms.
