Materials Data on NbCrW by Materials Project
NbWCr is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nb is bonded to four equivalent W atoms to form NbW4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent CrW4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent NbW4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent CrW4 tetrahedra. All Nb–W bond lengths are 2.63 Å. W is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Nb and four equivalent Cr atoms. All W–Cr bond lengths are 2.63 Å. Cr is bonded to four equivalent W atoms to form CrW4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent NbW4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent CrW4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent NbW4 tetrahedra.
