Materials Data on LiB by Materials Project
LiB is Zintl Phase structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of two LiB frameworks. Li is bonded to four equivalent B atoms to form distorted corner-sharing LiB4 tetrahedra. All Li–B bond lengths are 2.09 Å. B is bonded to four equivalent Li atoms to form distorted corner-sharing BLi4 tetrahedra.
