GRI research program in H{sub 2}S scavenging -- 1995 update

The Gas Research Institute (GRI) is sponsoring an evaluation program for H{sub 2}S scavenging technologies as part of an overall sulfur removal/recovery research program. The program includes a series of full-scale field evaluations to collect data on liquid and solid H{sub 2}S scavengers. Results from the initial evaluation of liquid-based scavengers in batch tower applications are given. Updates on the evaluation of a solid-based scavenger and direct injection of liquid scavengers are also presented.
