The next fracture simulation test in EE-3A is planned over the openhole interval from 12,350 ft to 12,828 ft. Following Expt. 2062 in mid July, the sand was washed out of EE-3A down to a depth of about 13,000 ft. However, it has now been sanded up--with a barite plug on top--bringing the hole depth to 12,850 ft (drill pipe measurement). This hole depth is now about 200 ft above the bottom of the MHF fractured region at 13,030 ft which was activated from EE-2 during Expt. 2032.
