The H2 Educate Program was a multi-year effort to educate middle school and high school students about hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. The National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project and the U.S. Department of Energy, along with non-financial partners embedded hydrogen and fuel cell curriculum in schools across the United States via teacher training workshops, conferences, and the design and delivery of curriculum and hands-on H2 Educate Kits for classrooms.
