TVA suspends work on three of its units

This article is a brief discussion of the announcement by the Tennessee Valley Authority that nuclear units Watts Bar-2, Bellefonte-1, and Bellefonte-2 will not be completed by TVA alone. The final disposition of these facilities is not yet known, but TVA is seeking a partner with which to complete the units, most likely as fossil units. Excessive cost is given as the reason for this decision.
