Materials Data on MnSbPd by Materials Project
PdMnSb is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Pd and four equivalent Sb atoms. All Mn–Pd bond lengths are 2.66 Å. All Mn–Sb bond lengths are 2.66 Å. Pd is bonded to four equivalent Mn atoms to form distorted PdMn4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent SbMn4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent PdMn4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent SbMn4 tetrahedra. Sb is bonded to four equivalent Mn atoms to form distorted SbMn4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent PdMn4 tetrahedra, corners with twelve equivalent SbMn4 tetrahedra, and edges with six equivalent PdMn4 tetrahedra.
