PrIn3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded to twelve equivalent In atoms to form PrIn12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PrIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent InPr4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PrIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent InPr4In8 cuboctahedra. All Pr–In bond lengths are 3.36 Å. In is bonded to four equivalent Pr and eight equivalent In atoms to form distorted InPr4In8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent InPr4In8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PrIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent InPr4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PrIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent InPr4In8 cuboctahedra. All In–In bond lengths are 3.36 Å.
