The photoelectron spectrum of the heteronuclear rare gas dimer ArXe was determined using resonantly enhanced multiphoton ionization-photoelectron spectroscopy (REMPI-PES). Three photoelectron peaks are observed corresponding to the production of ArXe⁺ in the A²Σ⁺ 1/2B ²Π3/2, and B ²Π1/2 states. The kinetic energies of these peaks are used to determine lower limits for the dissociation energies of the ionic states.
