Heavy quarkonium formation in {bar p}p annihilation

The recent experimental data of the E760 Collaboration at Fermilab on charmonium formation in {bar p}p annihilation are analyzed and the conclusion that in exclusive {bar p}p annihilation at s {approximately} 10 GeV{sup 2} the nonperturbative QCD effects are of importance is obtained. The cross sections of bottomonium formation in the {bar p}p annihilation {bar p}p {yields} {Chi}{sub b} are estimated and it is shown that the observation of these processes is realistic on future antiproton accumulators. 26 refs., 3 figs.
