Color transparency

Journal Article · · Physics of Atomic Nuclei
OSTI ID:114724
The basic assumptions about color transparency are reconsidered. Semiclassical and quantum approaches are reviewed in the framework of quark-hadron duality. The BNL experiment and possible (e, e{prime}p) experiments are discussed. The role of Fermi motion is emphasized as being of crucial importance for the onset of color transparency. 63 refs., 6 figs.
