PEP-X: RF Issues and Initial Estimates

This note addresses some very fundamental issues related to the estimation of useful RF systems for the base PEP-X design. Its purpose is to estimate the effectiveness of the existing PEP-II technologies and implementations, recommend alternatives, and determine areas where additional research is necessary. The PEP-X characteristics used in this report are those from the nominal design as defined in [1].
