The major events in·the.mechanical phase of the Power Reactor fuels reprocessing program during May. were: 1. Detailed design of the equipment necessary for the SRE fuel element reprocessing continues with some items released for fabrication. 2. Decision was reached to plan to start installation of equipment in the segmenting facility July 1. 3. Most SRE fuel element reprocessing equipment will be installed directly in the segmenting facility without prior testing in Building. 4505.
