The license application and review of LLW final disposal site in Taiwan

In Taiwan, a LLW final disposal site is now under planning and will be completed in 2002. The license application and review for this disposal site will be the most important topics in the coming years. It is introduced the status of the LLW final disposal plan in Taiwan, the strategy and programs proposed for the establishment, the requirements for the license application, the instructive criteria and regulation for this facility, and the review plans being established by the government. The purpose of this article is to summarize the information of the LLW final disposal plan for communication with other related groups or institutions with mutual interests.
