The purpose of Task 3 of the Instream Containment Study is to assess the natural transport and/or stability of mercury contaminated sediment in the East Fork Poplar Creek and Bear Creek watersheds. The intended end result of this task is an estimate of the annual net export of mercury contaminated sediment.
