We measured angular distributions of photoelectrons from the Xe 4d subshell, and N4,5OO Auger electrons using synchrotron radiation. The 4d asymmetry parameter exhibits strong oscillations with energy, in agreement with several theoretical calculations. The Auger electrons show large asymmetries due to alignment of Xe+ by photoionization.
