MCNP6.1 is the first production version of MCNP to include the ability to compute sensitivity coefficients of the effective multiplication k for nuclear data. These types of calculations are useful for code validation and the development of benchmark suites applicable to specific set of applications, for the design of critical (integral) experiments, and uncertainty quantification.
