This invention is comprised of a method and device for removing relays from circuit boards. The device comprising a handle portion, a base portion with a first arcuate cut with a first radius of curvature and a second arcuate cut with a smaller second radius of curvature, the second arcuate cut made in the periphery of the first arcuate cut, and a curved portion joining the handle portion to the base portion so that, when the base portion engages the underside of the relay and the handle is rotated about the curved portion, the relay is lifted by the base portion.
