Volume 5b continues the journal kept by Glenn T. Seaborg, head of the Atomic Energy Commission under President Kennedy. In addition to comments on his professional activities at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and his activities as president of the American Chemical Society, Mr. Seaborg includes correspondences, newspaper clippings of functions he attended, and even the occasional comment about his personal life. His experiments at this time were concerned with SuperHILAC bombardments.
